Sticks Jaspe Scarf
The Jaspe Scarf is a handwoven design originating from the village of Solola. Scarfs like these were originally used as ceremonial pieces for the purpose of marriage. When a Maya man is ready to ask a woman for her hand, traditionally, he will arrive to her home, lay out the scarf, and cover it with sweets and cakes.
